Attitudes and Viewing Preferences

Television continues to be seen as the most influential, persuasive and engaging advertising medium, according to a December 2015 NLogic / omniVu / thinktv survey.

1,000 Canadian adults were asked about their perceptions of advertising in a variety of media, based on a number of attributes. The survey results showed that Canadians pick Television as their go-to source for News and Sports, and that Live TV/PVR is the primary source for viewing television programming, enjoying a huge lead over both Netflix and YouTube, even amongst younger demos.
