Catherine MacLeod named Global TV Group Vice President
On March 1, 2022, Catherine MacLeod was named Vice-President of The Global TV Group; she will work with Martin Krapf, from Screenforce Germany, who has been appointed President of the group.
The Global TV Group was set up in 2013 and is a forum for exchanging best practices, collating global TV intelligence and sharing knowledge; the group’s objective is to promote the effectiveness of TV. To date, it consists of 18 TV industry associations from across the world.

This report shows that internationally, digital-native brands and online giants continue to invest significantly in TV: From 2015 to 2020 the total TV spend by direct-to-consumer brands more than doubled, while the FAAAM group of companies (Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Alphabet and Microsoft) also clearly recognise TV as a valuable means of driving growth and are using it more than ever.
