Project manage the marketing activities of a small but mighty broadcast association, overseeing the website, events, communications, reports, and social media activities for thinktv. Position reports into the VP, Marketing.

who is thinktv?

thinktv is a marketing and research association with a mandate to help advertisers and their agencies get the most out of the amazing medium that is television. thinktv provides resources to the advertising community via research, presentations, education and events.

responsibilities
  • Manage the thinktv website (WordPress): Updating content, developing new pages and sections as required, improving SEO, analytics tracking, and liaising with our website host provider
  • Lead social media efforts, from communication planning and content development to managing analytics
  • Develop and distribute email newsletters
  • CRM management via HubSpot
  • Develop simple creative materials, such as banner ads, online images, web pages and PowerPoint presentations
  • Project manage live and online events
  • Track and assess all marketing activities — development of regular campaign & website reports while identifying opportunities for on-going improvement
what we’re looking for
  • Someone who is passionate about TV, marketing and advertising effectiveness
  • Experience managing a website a must; technical as well as project management skills required
  • Experience with social media and CRM management
  • Someone who is motivated, interested in learning, and self-sufficient; must be willing to roll up sleeves and get involved in everything (see above re: “small but mighty” association)
  • Attention to detail a critical requirement; sense of humour a definite asset
specific technical skills that would be super helpful
  • Proficiency with WordPress; HTML an asset
  • Experience with HubSpot
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
  • Experience with social media planning and scheduling tools, e.g. Buffer
  • Proficiency in French would be ideal
  • Strong writing skills an asset, strong communication skills a must
